You all have likely heard the term "Full Coverage," but what does that mean, or more importantly, what does it include. Full Coverage means that you have Comprehensive Coverage and Collision coverage on your vehicle or vehicles. I have heard many people believe that Full Coverage means you have Roadside Assistance and Rental Car Coverage. This is not true; these are separate coverages we will go over in our next blog post. Now what does Comprehensive and Collision Coverage mean, and what do they cover?
Comprehensive Coverage: Helps to pay for the damages done to your vehicles, not in an accident or collision. A few examples are hitting an animal or damage by a falling tree branch or hail damage.
Collision Coverage: Helps to pay for the damages done to your vehicle involved in an accident or collision. For example, you rear-end the car in front of you at the stoplight on your way to work.
